Rembrandt van Rijn : Saskia van Uylenburgh (2 August 1612 – 14 June 1642) was the wife of the famous painter Rembrandt van Rijn. He was a Dutch draughtsman, painter, and printmaker. An innovative and prolific master in three media, he is generally considered one of the greatest visual artists in the history of art and the most important in Dutch art history.

In the course of her life, she was his model for some of his paintings, drawings and etchings.
